Payment Terms and Conditions

General Overview

  • IN-OUT acts solely as a technology platform that facilitates payment collection on behalf of respective residencies or housing societies.
  • IN-OUT does not collect or hold payments for its own use, except for applicable service charges (if any).
  • All refund decisions are made entirely by the respective residency or society administrators, not by IN-OUT.

Refund Eligibility

  • Payments made via UPI are non-refundable, except when explicitly authorized by the residency or society administrator.
  • Refund requests for maintenance fees, event charges, penalties, or other society-related payments must be submitted directly to your residency management or finance team.
  • IN-OUT does not initiate, approve, or process any refund on behalf of users.

Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

  • In the event of a double payment or transaction error:
  • Contact your residency's finance or accounts department immediately.
  • Provide supporting details such as the transaction reference number, UPI ID, and payment timestamp.
  • After verification, the residency or society may initiate a refund or adjustment as per their internal policy.
  • IN-OUT is not responsible for verifying, approving, or executing such refunds.

Unauthorized or Disputed Transactions

  • If you believe a payment was unauthorized, incorrect, or misallocated:
  • Notify your residency administrator within 7 days of the transaction.
  • You may also contact your UPI provider or bank to raise a formal dispute under NPCI and RBI regulations.
  • IN-OUT bears no liability for disputes or refund claims related to society-specific decisions, penalties, or accounting errors.

Refund Processing Time

  • Once your residency approves a refund, the timeline for receiving the credited amount will depend on your UPI provider's processing policy.
  • IN-OUT does not guarantee any specific timeframe for refunds since the processing is managed externally by payment systems and the residency's finance team.

No Liability Clause

  • IN-OUT shall not be held liable for:
  • Refund denials or delays by a residency or society.
  • Errors, failures, or delays in refund processing caused by third-party UPI applications or payment gateways.
  • Any financial loss arising from user errors, incorrect payment details, or delayed refund communication.

Policy Updates

  • IN-OUT reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy from time to time.
  • Any updates will be published on this page with a new 'Effective Date.'
